Equipment

  • 1 9x13 inch baking dish
  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Hand mixer
  • 1 Spatula

Ingredients

Crust

  • 36 chocolate sandwich cookies crushed
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted

Cream Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping thawed, divided

Pudding Layer

  • 2 boxes instant chocolate pudding mix 3.9-ounce boxes
  • 3 cups cold milk

Topping

  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 0.5 cup chocolate chips or shaved chocolate for garnish

Optional

  • 1 tsp alcohol-free vanilla optional

Instructions

  • Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter until the crumbs look evenly coated. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish and chill it while you prepare the next layer.
  • Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in part of the whipped topping until the mixture becomes light and fluffy, then spread it evenly over the crust.
  • Whisk the chocolate pudding mix with cold milk until thickened. Let it sit briefly, then spread it over the cream layer for a smooth chocolate finish.
  • Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer. Sprinkle on mini marshmallows and chocolate chips, or add a generous layer of shaved chocolate for a festive look.
  • Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the layers are firm enough to slice cleanly. Overnight chilling gives the best texture.
