Ingredients

  • 24 Oreos crushed, plus extra for topping
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream cold
  • 1 tsp alcohol-free vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs, then spoon a layer into the bottom of each serving cup. Press lightly so the base holds together.
  • Beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, alcohol-free vanilla, and salt until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold it gently into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Spoon or pipe the mousse over the cookie base. Add another light layer of crumbs if you like, then repeat until the cups are filled.
  • Refrigerate the cups for at least 2 hours so the mousse sets nicely. Before serving, add whipped cream and a sprinkle of Oreo crumbs on top.

Notes

Use very cold cream for the fluffiest mousse. Fold gently so you keep as much air in the mixture as possible. If you are making these ahead, wait to add the final toppings until just before serving.
Store the dessert cups covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. They are best served chilled, so there is no need to reheat them. If the tops soften, add a fresh sprinkle of cookie crumbs before serving.
